If you go to the Classic Shows website you can sign up with them and every gunshow they'll send you an email that you can use for something like $2.00 off admission.......not much but better than nothing. I've been on their mailing list for a long time and never received any spam due to me signing up.

I guess I figure whenever the media doesn't hyperventilate about an ND then it is a positive thing. I just have lower standards I guess. Comes with living with Houston media. I have no expectations that the MSM would explain gun safety anymore than I would expect them to explain defensive driving w...

I was a member of Bullet Trap for years. There used to be a couple of arrogant employees but the others were nice. For some reason I tired of Bullet Trap and joined DFW Gun Club last year. I renewed my CHL at Targetmasters and although the instructor was poor, I liked the range and owners/employees....

When Bass Pro first opened (Grapevine) I went to the range just to try it out and they told me right then that I could not use silhouette targets. So I'm surprised that they've let anyone use them. One reason (plus having to have all my guns locked and tell them how many rounds and mags I had). I'm ...

I have or have had several ported guns and they are great fun at the range. I'm not sure the porting made me shoot them any better (they were .38 super and 9mm) but they were neat guns. Two of my SVIs had ported Schumann barrels (4 and 6 ports) and when I shot them at the indoor range they were much...

I've purchased many guns from Becky and Tom. I also use them as my transfer FFL. They are great to deal with but sometimes are just a little slow in responding to you. Unless things have changed, Tom works full time and Becky doesn't have any employees so I'm sure they are overwhelmed at times. I al...
