Nidal Hasan had a security clearance and went through a NICS check for the FN pistol he bought. I was on Ft Hood at the time of the shooting and one of the buildings used by my organization STILL has doors that show damage from the SWAT team's battering rams when they thought that there might have b...

Re: What were your political leanings at 18 years old?
At 18 I was on an AF ROTC Scholarship, the Viet Nam War was going on, and the anti-war folks tried to burn down the ROTC building and the University President's office. Protestors frequently tried to interrupt ROTC drill periods---- Voted for Nixon as my first presidential vote...….

Re: Instructor Certificate Update
Status just changed on mine this morning to Certificate Issued. Will be checking to see that LTC and SSCI BOTH arrive as well as expiration dates. Had to email exam instead of upload because RSD website told me PDF file for exam was too large.

Re: Walmart has fallen!
Meh....Hate going to Wal-Mart anyway. Only gun related stuff I have bought from them in years has been a case of cheap shotgun shells each August, bulk .22 (WHEN THEY HAVE IT), and Hoppes #9 (cheapest price by far). The closest one to me has had ALL ammo locked in a cabinet behind the gun counter (w...
