I'm going to call this one.
The guy was struck in the calf. I would be willing to bet that all 84 shots missed and what hit him was either a ricochet or fragments.

Re: Joyce Foundation Steps on Rake
They undoubtedly have people working on ways to spin this. I can see a new campaign, based partly on current efforts to confiscate guns from SS recipients and veterans, to outlaw the possession of guns by anyone who is related to or knows a felon.

Here's our sign. http://www.learntocarry.com/nogunsnomoney/ I have been printing my own, just like that, for years. As a matter of fact, that card looks exactly like mine, but I don't use different guns, and I have a back side that states: I have been background checked I have taken training I have...

My post on the web site: "I would like to know what "legal jargon" Rep. Bernal is referring to. The law, as written, is clear and concise and there are no grey areas. The law states that to prevent open carry, and or concealed carry, you must post a sign meeting these requirements. If...

Is there a possibility that under the new law, he, as a "government entity" . . . :evil2: Nah, but it's fun to contemplate. I do hope that the signs he is providing are absolutely compliant with the law. And I wish there would be a way to identify the signs he provided once they are in pla...

Re: How British gun control precipitated the American Revolution
Jim, I would like to see your sources for this, as the intolerable acts stated any weapon or powder and said nothing of crew served weapons, that I can find crew served weapons were not even considered until 1778 when the French were supplying them to the colonists Gen'l Gage under orders from Secr...

Re: How British gun control precipitated the American Revolution
I have pointed this out in many "debates" and included the fact that a portion of the arms that the British were attempting to seize or block the importation of were crew served weapons.

Re: HOA ???
Agents would rather be marinated in sheep poop than have a party hire a lawyer to guide them through all these complexities. After we purchased the above mentioned house, with the HOA that had been specified as unacceptable sprung on us at the closing, as well as CC&Rs that were not supposed to...

Re: HOA ???
OK, here's a twist. When my bride and I bought our first house in TX, I, as a ham, specified to the real estate agent that, among other things, there would be NO HOA or CC&Rs attached to the property. On closing day, as we were signing papers, we were presented with the HOA membership to sign, a...

Re: Phoenix Sky Harbor - Situation Checking a Firearm
Part of the TSA strategy, if you will allow use of that term, is to keep everyone guessing as much as possible about what procedures will be in effect, from airport to airport, from time to time. One time it is this, next time it is that, after that it is something else. Of course, this risks mista...

Can you say DARWIN AWARD?
I notice that the author of the original article cited also stated that the gun "struck him." Also as if the gun did it of its own volition and it wasn't a bullet that did the fatal damage.

In order to take leave of your senses, you have to start with senses. There is no evidence that she ever had any.ShootDontTalk wrote:There is an old saying that fits Jennifer very well:

. . . They call it "ash", but it is really just the ground up remains of what had once been bone. The bone has been thoroughly desiccated by the immense heat, and the organic content is completely burned away. What you're left with is a very dry to the touch, gray in color mineral, which ...
