Class A to Class C
If by chance open carry doesn't pass it seems to me that deliberate exposure of a concealed holstered gun charge ought to be reduced from a Class A misdemeanor to a Class C. Alone this same line of thought, would campus conceal carry also mean concealed required in the campus parking lots? For examp...

Mailed my wife's and son's paperwork off at the end of October. The paperwork has yet to show up as having been received in Austin, only the online application is there. The end of December will be 60 days. I wonder what the hold up is? From my own experience I know it takes awhile to see online pro...

Re: Leaving the car to confront troublemakers isn't smart
what if it's a car jacking? Someone passes you, and forces you to stop, while the car behind you blocks your escaping in your car? If you can't drive away then maybe you should get out, find cover, and be armed and ready.

Nancy Grace is crazy: http://www.mediaite.com/tv/nancy-grace-says-fking-coons-uncensored-while-railing-against-zimmermans-hatred-for-trayvon/ GZ needs to sue her too while he's at it. What you have here are public figures defaming a private citizen. Zimmerman's Lawsuit Against Al Sharpton, NBC, and...

Anybody else notice the "devil" red on black theme HLN is using in its banner? Nancy Grace said "this verdict is a clear as...black on white."

Re: Check out HB38 filed today
Is it possible that bills like legislatures ability to carry anywhere is an attempt at "bootstrapping" a change in CHL laws over more than one session? For example, I know Rep Springer, personally. He's goal is to get rid of many of these CHL restrictions. The good and bad of Texas legisla...

Yeah, today I would warn not to come closer once he headed my way. At that time I didn't have any way to back up a warning. I didn't want to give them a reason to engage a conversation. I just wanted them to leave me alone and go away. I've done the test myself in the self defense classes, a person ...

Re: SB299 to Governor
Is a holstered handgun considered displayed or do you have to put hands on it to count as use of force? Does it matter if the person wearing the holster is a bank guard at the bank or a landowner on their property? The way I read it, you can be in your yard on main street openly carrying. But if yo...

Re: SB299 to Governor
: The general guideline that I personally use is if it's not legal to shoot them, it's not legal to show them. That is the case legally, but once 299 goes into effect we have a little more leeway. Not sure if you knew that already. So it seems he's asking his scenario under the rule of the new law,...
