Re: Managing your gear in bathrooms - a practical question
I always sit. I never use a urinal. I pick the stall with no stall to its left, if possible. Whether or not I can get into that stall, I always carefully lower my trousers with the weapon tilted to the inside, carefully place them on the floor in such a way that the weapon is completely covered by ...

Re: Special Session -- 2013
This was the last chance for Perry and Dewhurst in my book. It is time to really get behind Greg Abbott for Governor and Jerry Patterson for Lt. Governor in 2014. You may be surprised to learn that Speaker Straus (R-San Antonio) is "A" rated by NRA-ILA. Rep. Joe Pickett (D-El Paso), Chair...

Re: Unpaid traffic camera ticket
Traffic camera offenses were civil only. Their only option was to request that the county refuse to accept your yearly vehicle registration until paid.
Harris County and others refused to cooperate.

If Sam Walton were alive he'd fire those guys. If a customer shows up wanting something, it better be in stock, and if the customer has the money, you'd better get it. Walton spent way too much money to get a customer to come to the store to not sell them something that was on the shelf, and it had...

CDNN sent an email on 5/31. Ruger BX-25s were $29.99 each or $49.99/pair.

Before the shortage, I had no trouble finding .38 S&W and even .32 S&W.
No doubt when supply reaches something approaching normalcy, it will be available again.
At least enough for us old timers to feed our old timers.

Use Blue Armadillo Blue Wonder Gun Cleaner. http://bluewonder.us/RustRemovalwithBlueWonderGunCleaner.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; They recommend steel wool, but if you can find the ultrafine Scotchbrite pads, they work better. I believe the Ultrafine are gray colored...

Re: Heritage .22/22mag revolver
I have one. It is my cheapest gun but ironically, it is my favorite. Every year, they sell it at Academy for $100 black Friday sale. That's where I got mine. I got the 22 magnum cylinder online from Heritage. 22 Magnum will be good for self defense in a pinch on a really tight budget. 22lr will be ...

I remember Charles saying a week was usually the time frame for getting voted out.
