Re: I let my LTC expire
Sorry if this has been beaten to death already, and please direct me to that thread if it has, but... It was my understanding that while carrying under constitutional carry, a simple gunbuster sign or "no weapons" on a code of conduct sign would be considered sufficient notice to prohibit...

Re: veterans land board
Ah, you all are making me cry. Looking in Bexar, Guadalupe, Comal and I can't find an acre in the middle of nowhere for less than $50,000. Anywhere near a town upwards of $100,000.

Re: How Safe Is Your Password?
Oh, I know. I have to do the same. It's just that one guy came up with the scheme, the idea grew, and now TPTB refuse to back down from the myth.
That guy regrets it.
And it's why I use a password manager I can share amongst my devices.

The guy that does the XKCD comic is a physicist and worked in robotics at NASA's Langley Research Center in Virginia. Knows his math. https://imgs.xkcd.com/comics/password_strength.png IT for over three decades and the most violated rule was "don't write it down" because of the complexitie...

Re: Anybody have experience with the Stevens 320 Shotgun?
Not the 320 but I have the Stevens 350 Security, about 5 years old. I like it, never had any problems. Assume the basics are the same. I used to have a 350—the version with the ghost ring rear/high viz front sights. It was a pretty good shotgun for what I paid for it at the time (about $240 at the ...

Re: WI: Breaking Christmas Parade Attack 30+ injured
Saw a report this morning that he was fleeing another incident which tracks with him not hitting anyone until it became too crowded. So, bailed out, immediately does crime, and then escalates it while fleeing.

Secured area of airport
Ok, we know that if a license holder accidentally carries into the secured area of an airport he's given a chance to rectify his mistake. I've been asked by a retired LEO if there is any such exemption for them. Reading PC 46.03 I see nothing that would apply. Have I missed anything?
