Others I would consider: Nighthawk, Ed Brown, WC, STI.

Re: Man beats his 2 year old daughter to death with a belt
Worked a case where a guy broke the jaw of his 3 month old boy punching him for crying.
He landed one on me when I went to bring him in and it took 4 cops to get me off of him (after we wrested handcuffs on him...fair fight)
This makes me sick.

Re: 9MM Justification; FBI Training Division
If I do anything with the SO I use a 9. Though that gets more and more rare the busier work becomes.mojo84 wrote:gigag, Do you carry a 9mm for duty?
All I know, is that I wouldn't want to get shot with any caliber.

I always chuckle when someone gives me hard time about running a 9mm.

Yes and the top of the slide is milled open to reduce weight.

Been seeing 6920s on the CDNN emails in the $899 range.
That and a quality optic should be very under budget.

Only needed in far off places/remote areas or extended AO for storing partial mags when you have the luxury of casual reloading/ consolidating.
Pretty useless for any other type of civilian or LEO urban combat encounter. I can reload fast enough to let the current mag run dry.

Re: Why Are AR Accessories So Very Expensive?
Condor is airsoft quality IMO. If it holds up for your intended use, I'm glad to hear it, but I wouldn't run it. The SSA/SSAE trigger is one of the best triggers available made by one of the best makers. Sure, it could be copied, but many of the people buying and running their gear, aren't concerned...

Re: AR-15 (build) recommendations
I'd check Rainier arms for deals if I was building an AR today. Their brand labeled stuff is pretty good, and more original than Spikes or PSA lowers/uppers which are the usual heavy hitters for a decent budget gun.
