Sounds like they are making a concerted effort to own up to their mistake.

10mm 1911's that can handle full power ammo

So I've decided to step up to 10mm in the 1911 platform. I've been reading a lot about how some 1911's chambered in 10mm do not have a fully supported chamber and that using full power ammo is can be very bad. For example the Colt Delta Elite, which I was really set on buying until I heard about the...

Re: Boycott HPD

Far as I am concerned he is no longer welcome in Texas. I was so happy when he left Austin. He needs to be sent back to California. His politics are not welcome in this state. He's a hypocrite of the highest form. He's anti-gun yet carries a weapon as a "police officer". If the Houston may...

Re: Do you ever open carry?

It depends where I am to be quite honest. I live and work in Austin. So in these here parts I typically carry concealed though there are some occasions when I will open carry just on a whim. For the most part when I do open carry in town Austinites typically don't notice or don't care. But I'm sure ...

Re: Boycott Benchmade

I guess you can say when I started this topic I was quite passionate in my initial response. But after reading through everyone's responses I can agree that destroying ones own property they bought is overkill. I'm not perfect by any stretch of the imagination. But I will say this. I am not sorry fo...

Thankfully I don't own any of their products. But now I will never buy any of them.

Boycott Benchmade

Maybe some of y'all have heard about this already. Benchmade knives destroyed firearms for the Oregon City Police. As a firearms owner I find this highly unacceptable. This is a slap in the face to the 2A community by a once respected knife manufacturer. I can thankfully say I do not own any of thei...

Re: Question on Utah CCW Training

Washington State does indeed have reciprocity with Utah. I myself am looking to get a Utah CFP. The closest instructor to Austin I could find is Skyraider Arms up in Alvarado, TX. Details are in the link below.

Re: concealed carry insurance

Just looking to get a little extra insurance and I was wandering what most folks use. Thanks Auggie Mathis There are several decent options. You'll have to do your own due diligence to see which best fits your needs. I joined SCCA a and very shortly go a refund based on what I perceived as their ba...

Easy. I always have a backup plan. If anything ever happens to my TX LTC the AZ CWP will allow me to continue carrying until I would be able to get a replacement LTC.

Re: Range time (or lack of)

From mid-May to mid-November I don't go to the range. Why not? It's too darn hot even if I get there as soon as shooting is allowed. I'll bet I'm not alone, but many (I'm of course guessing...) are loath to admit it... I do find when once cool weather kicks in, my skills are still adequate, but no,...
