Let me get my cold Texas behind out of Canada and I just might purchase that pistol. I will have some left over per diem burning a hole in my wallet. Problem is all of the money has Queen Elizabeth on it. :smilelol5: I fly back to IAH on 8 April. I will be busy for a few days. If no one snaps it up,...

You really have no idea how bad it is up here. The other day there was an article in the Toronto rag about four pharmacy armed robberies where the BG demanded oxycontin, the painkiller. First off, the BG forgot handguns are illegal in Canada. But I digress. The article described steps that pharmacy ...

There are lots of purebreds and mixed breeds that make good companions and that will be agressive when called on to protect their owners. Personally, I would not aquire a lab for protection, unless the bloodline has some protective genes. Often the agressiveness is bred out of the line and the dogs ...

Great folks. Their gunsmith repaired one of my Mossberg shootguns.

I use the range when I am working out of my office in Pasadena. Lunchtime rangetime. Burn a few boxes and the stress goes away.

The issues with Alabama, I am fairly certain, is that the counties issue the CHL's and there is no uniformity, and not all counties require background checks. Kind of like the 'Bama version of the Kalifornia or N'Yark good ol' boy network.

Why not have Chucky be welcome in our State??? I mean if he were to get pulled over for some reason, then we could make him feel right at home by disarming him, removing ammunition from the firearm he's carrying, and telling him not to reload after they are gone... "Ten finga's on the fenda, b...

TxFire, I appreciate well trained animals. They are much more enjoyable. Most folks do not realize that dogs are actually better pets when they understand discipline and their place in the family pack. Dogs want to be dogs, not humans. Now if parents would just understand that children need discipli...

Notice I say under the owners control, not an a leash. My dogs are usually off leash. They are off leash because they are well trained and are under my control. The are better behaved off leash than most peoples dogs on leash though. Sorry for the rant, just one of my issues. TXFire, You obviously ...

By the way, love that name..."Gunner"! JLaw. He was a great dog. Big male Weimaraner. When I filed his papers with the AKC, Mrs. Anygun had named him "Gunnar", the german name. I changed it to Gunner, the Texas spelling. He is at the "Rainbow Bridge" waiting on us. We ...
