Re: Debate/Town Hall Meeting with Cotton & Grisham?

I didn't choose an option as it depends on the specifics. It sounds interesting and I would like to attend but it will depend on when/where. Any more details yet?

Re: Houston south quadrant breakfast

The next one will be June 5 at 8:30. Unless the group decides otherwise it will be at the Kelley's in Pearland. We are having them the first Friday of every month. Originally I thought there might be 3 to 5 groups that would form to have their own breakfasts in their general area, ours for the south...

Re: A snake in my gun safe

When I was growing up my uncle had horses. One time when I was about 8 he told me to go to a closet like thing with hay bales in it, grab the top bale and jerk it out and jump out of the way. That was because his two Shetland stallions were pretty rambunctious as they came running in for feeding tim...

Re: Spend my money for me !!!

A nice steak dinner at Saltgrass for your and your S.O. A Kindle Voyage for all the time you can't be at the range. A 10/22 takedown and 3-4 bricks of ammo. Dave Ramsey's The Total Money Makeover to figure out what to do with the rest. (yeah, it should have been first but would have quashed the firs...

Proofing and Editing

I've had the opportunity to proof and edit for three multi-volume published authors, two of whom have graciously included me in the acknowledgements of their works. The third author sent this complimentary review of my work. If anyone needs such work I'd appreciate an opportunity or a referral. I th...

Re: Ammo in Sugarland

They did a great job on the Cerakote. It looks fantastic. I'd definitely go to them again. To be honest I don't remember for certain just how much it was to do the receiver but it seemed reasonable. They did great work and it took a couple of weeks overall.

One would hope that would be the outcome. I'd just hate if anything happened to him due to that being shown.

Re: 109-year-old WWII veteran shows off gun collection

I wish they hadn't put that video online. It will likely encourage some worthless scum to go on a gun stealing mission at his house.

Dan Patrick for Governor - NOT!

I suspect this guy has plans to step up to governor and maybe then to senator and maybe even a run for president. He was a great choice when he was a conservative voice on the radio saying all the right things. Now that he's lt. governor he's too busy working his personal agenda rather than working ...

I wish I could offer you a solution. Good luck figuring it out and condolences on moving to Austin, the far left blight on Texas.

Re: Houston south quadrant breakfast

Kelley's is great as far as I'm concerned. The food is excellent and being in Friendswood both the Pearland and League City locations are pretty convenient. I'm open to any suggestions though. I'm just the trouble maker that was the instigator for this.

Re: Houston south quadrant breakfast

That was a very good breakfast. We had a good group too. Hopefully it will continue to catch on. It looks like the next one will be June 5. Where does everyone want to go? Kelley's again? A different Kelley's? IHOP again and if so which one? Somewhere else?

I could use name tags. It takes my sieve several times before names stick. It's a challenge and I hate it but it is what it is.
