Spanish LTC Class

I've been doing Spanish License to Carry classes in the Odessa/Midland area, but lately have been having second thoughts. I've been doing LTC/CHL for 4 years now and have avoided charging prior to class. Lately, on my Spanish classes, I'll have several sign up and come class day, I'll have over half...

30.06 posting at apartment complex

Had a question come up on this. My thoughts would be this covered complex office and facilities, but not one's apartment. Am i correct on this ?

Re: Electronic earmuffs

Thanx for the input, guys ! My shot timer offers a par setting in which you'll have a start and stop beep...although i do wish these "beeps" differed in tone (as they often get confused for start/stop).

Electronic earmuffs

I've decided to offer electric ears to my students for the shooting practical. I've had several students claim they can't hear my shot timer, which in turn caused them to fire after the buzzer. And of course, I'm using alcohol wipes in between uses for hygiene sake.
Is anyone else offering this ?

Carry at work while waiting on original chl.

Question posted on a CHL forum. I noticed conflicting answers, including two instructors.

My take would be Ok with written/signed permission from "owner" and only on premises.
Thoughts ???

Re: CHL Presentation Materials...

I've found several clips/videos that could be very helpful in class and I really wish DPS would include some of these on their Youtube site of allowed/suggested videos. I've messaged them about it, but to no avail.

Re: Instructor Re-Qualification . . .

Thanx RossA. I've emailed DPS and still waiting on a reply, as they're not answering any chl related calls.

Wondering if I should just submit renewal fee and risk taking the loss..

Re: Instructor Re-Qualification . . .

I'm needing my Instructor renewal this year (2015). Does it expire on birthday or issue date, and what is the process ? Any scheduled classes or have they regionalized them ? Should I receive an expiration notice before filling out the online renewal application or go ahead and submit that now (awar...

Re: Pre-printing CHL-100's

I was under the impression every instructor was required on chl-8 ? On 100, I sign on classroom portion, while my co-instructor signs off on the proficiency.

Re: Trying to Learn From Others - CHL100's

Just read some of my older comments ! Well, I've since changed to using the Excel spreadsheet and pre-print my 100's with my info and the range. I wait until class day to copy student info on the 100. I hang on to them until after the proficiency, where I'll have student sign, then I scan them into ...
