Re: I think the forum is dying
I don't completely understand your argument. So pick your own news site to compare it to if Drudge was a bad example. Almost half the topics on page one in this off topic subforum are topics posted by one guy. They're all 24/7 cable news style topics. If I wanted that, I'd be on a news website. I c...

Re: I think the forum is dying
What makes this website unique and important is that it is different than CNN, MSNBC, Facebook, etc. True for the topics I will actually click on. Unfortunately most of the time the most recent topics are all spam news from the sources you mention aggregate threads. If I wanted to see that, I’d go ...

Yes, I’ll renew.
Makes buying easier when you don’t have to wait for the NICS check, and I travel to states that honor CHLs but not constitutional carry.

Re: Is it me or are postings down
There's a common element to many of those political-leaning threads. I've not appreciated most of it either, but, this is not my house so, I'll defer to the mods. I plan to stick around until they kick me out, however. Yep. It is tiresome wading through the endless “I saw a news article, bett...

Red dots are absolutely worth it.
They won’t turn a bad shooter into a good one, but they are an improvement.

Re: Five Rounds, Five Seconds, Five Yards, Five Inches
I have little or no experience in personal defense oriented shooting competitions, but it seems to me that the TWO things they don’t seem to account for are (1) your target is most likely mobile, and (2) he may be shooting at you ....which places a whole new spin on things. Like I said, all I know ...

Confirmed as Speaker.
I assume its about two months late to email him encouraging a Republican to be put in charge of any committee that may get gun bills.

Re: The Stolen Election, Part One: AMERICAN PRAVDA
Welcome to how Communists (yes, really) work; I've lived through this before In South Africa. Not to be preachy or patronizing, but we all really need to understand in our souls that the other side has no interest in fairness, freedom or democracy - only gaining power, PERIOD. That's it. The Left c...

The main reason why I have not yet invested in a plate carrier and plates:E1C27CEE-B1FF-498A-8FC5-F589F0165C70.jpeg I can barely stand the weight of my shoulder holster or my lightweight chest rig. Heck, I can’t walk to my car without considerable pain. There’s no way in hades that I can bear the w...

Re: If you started over carrying a firearm
I’ve done it all since I started. 1911s, Glocks, wheel guns, most every thing in between. So much focus is spent by so many people on equipment instead of the important Stuff. I did it wrong too, so if I was starting over I’d want to do it right this time. I’d pick a reliable gun. Insert whatever yo...
