Re: Concealed Carry Gun Stolen
Not to derail things, but may I ask where were you able to order a replacement for the Shield? I've been keeping an eye out for one but no luck so far.

Re: Anybody else order a Crossbreed holster lately?
And that's exactly why I went Crossbreed. It was just a name that kept coming up. Everyone loves theirs. So why not start with the best? It just seems like a waste of money to buy all these different holsters. Same here. I haven't seen anyone say they dislike their Crossbreed holster. Maybe that so...

Re: Practicing with airsoft guns
Eye protection -- got it! Obviously it wouldn't replace practicing with the real thing on the range, but I like the idea of being able to practice more at home, and to practice things that we might not be able to do with a real firearm. Out of curiosity, how likely is it that there would be any sort...

Practicing with airsoft guns
I'm a new gun owner, working toward getting my CHL this year. I participate in a women's pistol league, and after range practice last week the question came up of what to do about training/practicing if you're having trouble finding or affording ammo. One suggestion was to buy a high-quality airsoft...

Re: Anybody else order a Crossbreed holster lately?
Just ordered mine yesterday. No CHL yet (still need to find somewhere to take the class) but I figured at least I won't have to wait for my holster!

Just got back from there -- they said yes, it was a power outage on Monday.

Re: Reds North
There were a lot of power outages in the area, so that's a possibility. I live a few miles down the road and a lot of my friends in the area lost trees and fences, not to mention parts of their roofs. Maybe Red's had wind damage issues. I drove past Monday morning (around 10 and 11) and the parking ...

Re: Range in/near Allen?
We made it out to Bullet Trap on Monday morning -- figured we'd skip the weekend and hopefully miss any crowds, since my husband had President's Day off. Thanks for the suggestions! It was nice, and we didn't have any trouble with the staff. Actually, everyone we talked to was pretty friendly. Also ...

Re: Range in/near Allen?
Thanks, we'll check them out. Napier, is it really a bad area of town or is that just relatively to the fancy neighborhood in Allen? I'm honestly not familiar with the Dallas area; I've always lived near Austin. For whatever it's worth, our neighborhood at home doesn't much resemble my in-laws' neig...

Range in/near Allen?
Next weekend we're headed up to visit my in-laws in Allen. We've generously (ahem) offered them some time alone with their grandkids while we go out for a while, and we're thinking it would be fun to spend a little time at a range together. Can anyone recommend a good range in that area? We'll be ne...

The thought crossed my mind, if Liz hasn't already found something. :)baldeagle wrote:Seems like the two of you ought to be able to work something out with an instructor.

Re: Nursing baby and 1 day class
Hi there! Didn't see anywhere to introduce myself, but I've been lurking for a bit. I'm also a mother of a nursing baby and trying to figure out a way to get my CHL without an entire day away from her. She's my third, and the only one of them who refuses a bottle -- go figure. Did you wind up findin...
