Re: San Antonio gun show - posted?
I don't go because the sound of those stun guns brings back bad memories.

Re: Call-To-Action: HB910
Coming out of hibernation again. I called both my senator and rep (van taylor and jodie laubenberg) who told me they are both behind open carry. is there any way I can see who voted for and against the conf committee report in case I need to call back and cal them on male bovine excrement? There is...

Re: HB910 Conference Commitee Changes.
I did not know that it had to be at an entrance. I frequent a theater that I concealed carry in often. But one night as we stepped onto the escalator my wife noticed a red 51% sign on the wall in the ticket booth. It was partially obscured by items placed on a counter directly in front of it. Needle...

Re: Debate/Town Hall Meeting with Cotton & Grisham?
I'd be interested in hearing more details. I hit yes. Apparently there won't be any more details since CJ has already posted on his closed Facebook page that he won't participate in a debate/town hall meeting. Chas. Was CJ ever on the right side of this issue? If so what caused his turn to the dark...

Parliamentary procedures
What might we expect in the coming days when the House and Senate once again take up HB 910 and SB 11? At times it is apparent that the legislators don't know their own procedures, which has indeed caused some confusion. What I would like to know from any of you who might have knowledge in the area,...

Re: HB 910 Conference Committee
Can they dump both amendments ? Will the discussion be with both house and senate members in the same room, and will it be televised ... Not sure I am asking this right . Yes, but I can't get into how it can be done. There is a procedure. Chas. That's the best news I've heard all day! :clapping:

Re: HB 910 Conference Committee
The vote to send it to conference committee was overwhelming.... 70 something against to 90 something in favor. It is hard to see how a 20+ vote difference would suddenly swing the other way and vote to pass it in the event that the committee reports the bill back to the floor unchanged. That is a ...

Re: Clarification on proposed open carry law
Has anyone heard why the GOP voted for an amendment(s) in the first place. On the surface one would think that they should have understood the divisive nature of it and that it was already a guaranteed protection. I am referring to the Dutton/Huffines amendment.

Re: House 5/27 - HB910 or SB11
Presumably Republicans will be passing universal background checks next session. Because not to do so would be a slap in the face of law enforcement. Now that's really helpful. Sincerely, thank you so much. Deferring to the wishes of law enforcement is the cause of many of California's anti-...

Re: Debate/Town Hall Meeting with Cotton & Grisham?
Nope. No need to show the world a house divided. This is meant with respect Charles, so please take it a such, but why in the world would you want to elevate any of them to your level or stoop down to theirs? Hopefully next leg cycle everyone can either: (A) Work together. or (B) Not trip over each...
