Re: BREAKING: P320 Recall Issued By Dallas Police | Prohibited From Duty Till Repaired

I got my emails a couple of days ago and Sig got my pistol back yesterday. I did need to get a box from FedEx and had shipped a firearm with them before so I just went into the store thinking I could do it all in there like normal. Instead I was advised that company policy no longer allows people to...

Re: TX: Sutherland Springs church 27 dead 20 injured in mass shooting

Given the type of separation from the military, wouldn't it be illegal for him to own a gun? If he was actually convicted at the Court Martial, which it sounds like he was, then I do believe it is illegal. A court martial conviction is the same as a felony conviction. it's more complicated than jus...

Confirmed at press conference by Homeland: Resident grabbed his rifle and engaged the shooter which forced the shooter to drop his Ruger Ar15 and flee.

Re: TX: Sutherland Springs church 27 dead 20 injured in mass shooting

Witness on CBS that gave first aid, reports that someone inside the church returned fire and continued firing as the shooter got into his truck, shattering his window.

Its a witness report so you know how those go but he seemed extremely credible and he moved in to render immediate assistance.

Re: Gun rights for a Felon?

I was unaware a dishonorable discharge removed gun rights. Can someone cite a source for this information? A dishonorable discharge is equivalent to a felony conviction in the civilian world. The removal of gun rights was made law with the passage of the GCA of 1968. That information can be found i...

Re: BREAKING: P320 Recall Issued By Dallas Police | Prohibited From Duty Till Repaired

Anyone else sign up immediately (within 5 minutes of the page showing up) and not receive a shipping label? I got the email a couple weeks ago letting me know it would be October/November depending on when you signed up but nothing else. Not that worried because I'm still enjoying shooting my subcom...

Re: Active or Passive Retention Holster

Passive for 98% of my carry needs. With a good belt and a good holster it isn't coming out unless I want it out. If I open carry, which is rare, I use active retention which is usually just a thumb snap.

Re: John Cornyn of Texas is focused on bump-stocks

Anybody else baffled by the NRA's call for additional regulations on bump fire stocks? :headscratch Not baffled at all. It is a smart move from the NRA to reduce the liberals momentum. :tiphat: P.S.: Why would a normal person want a device to increase firing rate anyway? Using a loopholes is what O...

Chas.
He's the Senate majority whip. It's not like we can just safely assume he's playing possum especially when many others around him are thinking of banning gun parts.

Extremely baffled especially when they were sending me emails pushing to have stuff stripped off the NFA just a little bit ago. Apparently only some limits are unconstitutional.

Re: A New Approach to a Decades-Old Injustice

The REALLY GOOD NEWS for the Texas CHL paranoia movement, is my masters is in politics! Having been a conservative all my life, I will now be joining forces to elect Democratic candidates to key areas in Texas. Maybe they can take the "rights" away from the psycho "my cold dead hands...
