Re: SIG P320 Compact or Subcompact
I have a P238 and just bought a P320 subcompact to replace it as my EDC. The subcompact grip length is roughly the same as the P238 with a 6rd mag in it but it obviously holds 12. I like small guns and the 320 SC is about as large as I would personally go. You can buy a grip module from Sig with the...

Re: About time fees reduced
I'm curious if the website will actually be updated on September 1st for the new pricing. I chose to wait and I'm hoping they don't screw it up.

Re: P320 Chamber
I'm not reloading... That's ok, save your brass anyway. Just keep a gallon ziplock bag going and when it's full either sell it, or gift it to a reloader. No sense in wasting good brass! And a gal zip lock of 9mm nets just over 1800 cases! :fire I do keep my brass when possible. I like having it...j...

Re: P320 Chamber
Mark another 2 rounds with a sharpie across the primer/base with an arrow and load - and orient the arrows up in the mag and repeat process... based on location I would think those marks are the from a nice new [sharp] breakover angle of ramp to chamber. It will probably smooth out with use but you...

Re: Best Carry Position While Driving
Long road trip, concealed shoulder holster. Same here. I also am now in the habit of carrying back-ups on both ankles (Galco Ankle Glove). So I pull my trowser legs up to the top of my boots for very easy access, with either hand. ^^ That's what I do as well. Shoulder holster really comes into its ...

P320 Chamber
I've been enjoying my new P320 Subcompact quite a bit and am working towards making it my full time carry gun however I noticed some odd marks on my spent cases. It looks as though they're being scraped up. I chambered a few rounds without firing them to see if the results were only caused when the ...

Re: Tap, Rack, Bang or Drop, Replace, Rack, Bang?
This is a good subject. The way we teach is it is, "Tap - Rack - Assess." Why? Let's say you're in a gun fight and while clearing your hypothetical malfunction the 'bad guy' -- so overwhelmed by your guns skills -- surrenders? But you follow up with "Bang" because that's the way...

That is true but the results are coming in and unlike the quick undoing of Hillary on election night it appears that Macron is going to take it.Abraham wrote:Of course he may be correct, but I recall a recent election where the same type landslide prediction was in force, guess what happened...?

October renewal
My license is due for renewal in the beginning of October and I've already received the notice from DPS. My question is whether or not I should wait until September to submit all of my information since it appears the fee reduction is likely to pass this session?

Re: Home defense: birdshot
When I reach for something to save me I want a round in it that is designed to stop humans effectively. Not a round that is effective at peppering birds out of the sky with enough meat left for me to eat.

I occasionally bust out a full-size Rock Island GI model in .45. It might not be the prettiest but man is it a tack driver.

Re: Taurus: New factory, logo, tag line, upcoming products.
I genuinely want Taurus to succeed simply because they make a wide variety of guns at a price that is appealing. I have 3 of their guns (2 semi and one revolver) and while they aren't the best guns I own, they all work and work well. The PT92 has a permanent place next to my bed as that thing is a t...

Re: AR mags
I usually keep all but one of mine loaded. That way I have one around that I can load 5 into so I can shoot a group without having to eject and clear every time. After a range trip, I'll leave them unloaded for a little while so I can get some time in practicing reloading from my pouches. I bought a...
