Re: Conceal methods for women

Gymnast, be real cautious on ebay, if you are interested in a particular purse and are willing to bid more because the seller says it's xyz mgf, be sure they have put a pic of the label, don't just bid because of a pic of the purse, or they're word. I recommend, bid on what you want, and bid only wh...

Re: Conceal methods for women

Well, I have 2 carry purses, that I think are kinda cute. One is a no-name real small messenger style leather purse, holds my snubby revolver, couldn't put anything any bigger. The other is a Coronado Hobo style, I think it's the small one, not positive, I base that idea on pictures I've seen with o...

Re: Open Carry argument

I lived in CO for 3 years where there was OC, a friend OC'd frequently. We frequented a Wendy's where there were alot of OC'ers.....didn't realize it at first, I thought they were LEO's for months  I'd never realized OC was legal anywhere.... honestly, there weren't any more legal 'no carry' ...

Re: CHL'ers and church security

why does a church need security? let's see, my car and another were broken into on Easter Day in CO Springs a few years back, they took a piece of junk mail and our garage opener then went to our house and had fun, they knew where we were and how long they had. next, remember I said CO Springs, reme...

Re: Another "school-sponsored event" question

"UIL" means "UIl", "interscholastic" should mean "includes all schools including public, private and homeschools"....but it doesn't...it often includes private, it usually just means "we've invited some other schools to play with us" :???:

Re: I want to do business with other CHL's

xtreme, I'm in the SA area, Schertz actually, I can put you in touch with our realtor...Don't know if he's CHL, didn't come up, (wouldn't be surprised though) but he's ex-airforce, conservative, and put up with me picking out the house without the hubby, then the purchase was long distance......then...

Re: How do I make my wife comfortable?

to add to what has been said.... something my husband said when he started carrying...something I'll never ever forget....OK, I've forgotten the specific words, but I'll never forget the sentiment and emotion... basically "I love you and our children, no one else can love you more than I can. Y...

Re: How do I make my wife comfortable?

if she just doesn't understand how the gun works, show her a revolver, plain and simple...that worked for me. I wasn't a 'gun gal' till we moved to the country...my husband had guns, but it was his thing...when we moved to the country and I was alone with our kids during the day and if he went out o...

Re: Preachers Church carry

recently spent a few years in Colorado...(Texas before and now)...ask that question there, I'm not going to guess percentages but I will say they went way up after the church shootings I knew of a couple of pastors who carried, and yes, on Sundays.

Re: NJ: Subzero tolerance in school

Problem is, these days, government school officials are now recognized as 'in loco parentis', this is why they can search lockers, etc, they may be able to sit in place of the parent during questioning IF the child doesn't say "I want my mom!". Reason number 14893 to homeschool. (not a law...

Re: SOB Comments

As a woman I'll step in here ;-) I briefly considered SOB...very briefly...I've actually fallen a couple of times on my back and the thought of falling on my weapon...yeh, no...I'd rather not be paralyzed. I tried at about 3 o'clock and that wasn't as comfortable as I thought it would be, we tweaked...

Re: My TSA Diatribe

:iagree: but did you notice that the 'bystanders' they selected to interview were very young. chances of them or a friend actually having ever been molested or raped while reasonable isn't real high yet. We bought tickets for my teen daughter to go see a friend in FL back in Nov. a couple of weeks a...

Re: Introduce yourself

Hi, I'm Tracy, I've been carrying for about a year, mostly in a purse, I've just gotten an IWB holster, I seem to be most comfortable with a cross draw carry. I'm a homeschool mom of 2 teens(one graduates this year) and I help my in-laws with driving, basically that means I spend alot of time at BAM...
