Re: I'm kind of an expert in your field

The reaction to my OP turned out pretty much exactly how I thought it would. Thanks to all of you who took this for the good humor, with just a dash of "it's funny because it's true", that it was intended to be.

Re: Open Carry impact

Well, it's been interesting. But I'm done debating folks who know they're opinion is the only correct opinion. Agree to disagree.

As for Chief Acevedo, he's a worthless Kalifornia commie. Period.

Re: Carrying v possession

This is really simple: if you're too intoxicated to carry then you're too intoxicated to drive. So the traffic stop with you driving should not occur in the first place.

Re: Open Carry impact

This may come off as antagonistic, but its not meant to be. In the perfect gun rights utopia, we're all considered normal for carrying a gun. In the real world, however, we're a massive minority and open carry is likely to bring attention at some point. For those of you that are concerned about pol...

Re: Open Carry Holster

I've used the new GLS retention once at a store in a demo model and it is very intuitive (side of middle finger presses button and deactivates retention in a natural way with good weapon grip as you begin draw stroke - no special forethought/muscle memory/independent action required), Good high-rid...

Issues or potential issues with Serpa index finger deactivation design are well-documented elsewhere, and I've no interest in debating them. Just a caution to OP to do your research on Serpa design and form your own opinion to guide your choice. https://www.fletc.gov/sites/default/files/imported_fil...

Re: Guns are like Climate change...

Since when does polling so-called "scientists" about their opinions on gun-related questions equal definitive scientific fact? I'm getting really sick and tired of libtard constantly moving the goalposts. That whole article is as stupid and fundamentally wrong as the new definition of &quo...

You're not going to find a definitive, black-n-white answer.

"Totality of circumstances" will determine.
