For purposes of this section, a threat to cause death or serious bodily injury by the production of a weapon or otherwise, as long as the actor’s purpose ...

Re: Range time (or lack of)
I've been doing the dry fire practice and drills using the MantisX (allows you to use your own handgun) and SIRT pistols from Next Level Training coupled with the LASR software. Pretty happy with both.

Re: Age old debate: LTC Badges
The newly added verbiage regarding volunteer security services (at a church) includes a section that states (c) While providing volunteer security services under Subsection (b), a person may not wear a uniform or badge that: (1) contains the word "security"; or (2) gives the person the app...

IANAL but I don't think reciprocity requires you meet Texas' eligibility requirements. If you want to obtain a non-resident Texas LTC yes... but not just to carry under the authority of your state's license. Some of the examples given above are about following the individual state rules for where yo...

Re: NRA vs CNN Tonight 9PM
There were some angry and hurt students, parents, and faculty talking tonight. And these people are justified in feeling that way. I believe their anger and pain has been pointed at the wrong target. As others have said, Dana did the best she could with the questions she was asked. She has far more...

Re: Recommend A Zippered Rectangular OWB Pack
I've been using a 511 Push Pack for a few years now. Zippered compartment with built-in velcro holster. Several other pockets, small and large plus 2 water bottle holders. Even has a belt loop on the back to secure it closer to your body (vs swinging/hanging when you move or bend). https://www.511ta...
