Re: OC Spray Doesn’t Always Work
I often carry an OC/CS blend, but sometimes carry an expandable baton for this kind of reason. I know from my time in corrections that OC sucks, but I actually kinda like CS. The main thing I learned is to not freak out or panic. That is most people’s initial response to chemical agents.

Re: Angled Fore Grip On PCC
The gun in your picture is a pistol, not a carbine.
Any forward grip would be fine on a carbine, but things change when we are talking about pistols.

It was an armed security guard contracted by the news agency who was on the scene.philip964 wrote: ↑Sat Oct 10, 2020 7:09 pm https://www.denverpost.com/2020/10/10/d ... nter-park/

Re: My “truck” gun is...
I betcha one could argue that a sling carried over/around the shoulder could be considered a shoulder holster.
Personally, I have always liked the idea of using a cheap 12GA pump shotgun as my truck gun. Texans have been keeping those in their trucks since trucks came to Texas.

Re: HD for the elderly- need some suggestions
I just posted elsewhere that I’ve always thought that the Hipoint Carbine in .380ACP could be a great home defense weapon for smaller framed people. Out of the 16” barrel the .380 round is going about as fast as a 9mm from a pistol. The reviews of them say that there is no recoil & the report is...

Re: Which DA/SA gun would you carry?
My most often carried traditional double action is a Beretta MiniCougar. Mine started out as DAO, but I added the sear parts, then an extended magazine release & a new set if Spartan night sights. It holds 8+1rounds of .40S&W or 357Sig, depending on which barrel I have in it. Or I can use th...

Re: Beretta 92x Compact or Centurion
I had an M9A1 Compact years ago, but I didn’t like the length of the grip. It just wasn’t short enough to offer enough of a difference in concealment to me over the Centurion I also had. Now I have 2 more Centurions. As much as I like the 92, if I need to conceal I carry something else more compact....

Re: 1911 C&L VS SA
There was a time when I thought it was a good idea to use a spurless NP3 (nickel Teflon) coated hammer in an application that requires me to thumb the hammer down on a loaded chamber. That only lasted a day before I realized it was a dumb idea & switched it for a normal hammer.

Re: 1911 C&L VS SA
My first gun was a 1911 and I remember one time accidentally have an ND when I tried to drop the hammer (slowly) with a round chambered. Never did that with a Glock. But also for a long time I wouldn't carry a round chambered in my Glock because I didn't feel comfortable because it had no "saf...

TAM, I thought I was about to get a chance to meet you. I’m getting back into Private security stuff again and was in the process of getting my licenses back after being in corrections for several years. My company was trying to input me into the Identogo stuff so I could schedule my fingerprinting,...

I really should not have commented until additional video was released.
Too many people let their emotions get the better of them & fail to look at the big picture of what is going on at that time.
Yes, it sucks that the man died, especially for a suspected forgery arrest, of all things.
