Here's another one.

The Politico piece, written before Trump won the nomination, does not prove or make clear that he sought the Koch's endorsement. Wanting to purchase analytics and wanting to speak at an event does not make the case. Once again, the liar (or fake news provider) is the opposite party.

Re: Today in Trump's new term as President

The WaPo Trump "lie" blog collection is full of things like this. Maybe I'll find the time to "debunk" (ridicule) them one by one, but probably not. If you know what a non sequitur is, pass go and collect $200.
uselect192.jpg
Please realize that this is a complete, 100% unadulterated non sequitur. Morons quote this and take it seriously. Not normal people.

U.S. spy agencies: North Korea is working on new missiles.
It appears that Trump's assertions just a few weeks ago that Pyongyang was “no longer a Nuclear Threat" might have been a little premature.
https://www.washingtonpost.com/world/na ... cf47b46431
I just read the wapo article. Not one named official said anything, except Pompeo, and he did not say this. "Anonynous WaPo Source" = #FakeNews.
Hardly fake news. Pompeo admitted in testimony to the senate last week that north korea was still developing fissile material, and when asked directly about missle development he declined to respond when asked whether North Korea was continuing to pursue submarine-launched ballistic missiles or whether North Korea’s nuclear program was advancing generally. Pompeo said he would be happy to answer the latter question if necessary in a classified setting but suggested public statements on the issue would not help “a complex negotiation with a difficult adversary”.

Not the predigested pablum released thru the alt-right news channels you may be used to digesting, but it shouldn't require much critical thought to reach the conclusion that north korea is doing exactly what they have done for over 30 years.... promise one thing while breaking that promise at the same time. It's the same game plan they have always run.
Among the 200 killed in the tunnel collapse last year were certainly scientists, engineers and technicians who were involved in the development of bombs and delivery systems. You think they called up a temp staffing agency to keep things moving?

Having your nuclear program literally collapse and dealing with a US CIC who has shown resolve handling nasty problems has a way of adjusting one's plans. The US is still at war with NK, and there are no treaties yet, so yeah, they are still working on things, with the talent they have left. There will be no more missile launches.

President of Iran threatened the US with the mother of all wars.

Trump responded like only Trump can. Iran probably won’t say things like that again.

Trump is not Carter or Obama.
The mullahs are almost done. The security forces are turning in massive numbers. Bringing in brutal mercenaries did not work this time. It is hard to follow, but twitter is the best place for real info.

The US will support the Iranians de-revolution, not get deeply involved.

Re: Today in Trump's new term as President

General Flynn will not spend one second behind bars. I mention this because his name keeps coming up as someone who has been caught in the Russia trap. I do not know why he plead guilty. Could be for money reasons. Could be for other reasons.

General Flynn will not spend one second behind bars. There is a judge who is in deep trouble. Another judge is very angry. The first is Contreras, the second is Sullivan.

If you disagree, I'll wager $100. This is not against forum rules, although I'm sure it will be soon.

The real question is when will Strzok's wife kill him?
Funny, Gohmert had that same twisted curiosity... That was another dumb thing about the hearing.
The character of a man has no meaning. All of that texting was done on taxpayer time with taxpayer provided phones. But there was NO bias, just innocent little lovebirds tweeting.
More silliness... There is no question about Strzok's bias.
1. Criticism about marital loyalty? Was it a loving relationship or a stormy one???
2. How much time spent texting the girlfriend? Maybe this was done during break time or compensated with overtime???
3. Again, the question should be what did he actually do that was wrong because of his obvious bias in FBI investigations??? According to Justice Dept IG: nothing.

McEnroe said it best:
What the IG report summary said and the report body said did not mesh. People are still scratching heads over that one.

In addition to the ill conceived and poorly executed disgrace of an immigration policy this week, there were 2 announcements from long standing members of the conservative establishment that publicly announced their withdrawal from the Republican Party, and went the extra step encouraging voters to vote for democrats against trump this year, and in 2020.

https://www.washingtonpost.com/politics ... 21faec994d
Republican strategist Steve Schmidt announced and stated that he saw the current trump controlled republican party as “a danger to our democracy and values.” and the party in general as “filled with feckless cowards who disgrace and dishonor the legacies of the party’s greatest leaders.” Ouch!

https://www.washingtonpost.com/opinions ... 9a9172479f
the other is long time conservative George Will, who urged a vote against the GOP this november, and referred to "Ryan and many other Republicans" as "the president’s poodles." Again,, Ouch!

Apparently there are a few who believe as I do that there may be some things more important than the economy.... but the way things are shaping up, trump seems determined to simultaneously engage the EU, Canada, Mexico, China and India in a full blown trade war. Not sure how that can be positive for the country. On the up side I do begin to more fully understand why trump has been forced to declare bankruptcy 4 times, and learning is always a good thing. So Much Winning!!! :thumbs2:
It's not policy, it's the law.

George Will is a never trumper. Probably one of the first recipients of an "atomic wedgie" in high school.

Same with Steve Whatshisname.

Was he on the ballot for the presidential election?

If we are going to pick just anyone out of the air, I'd still be happy with Ted Cruz.
I think Ted Cruz can steer a ship, but I don't think he can turn one around. That's takes a very special talent. The ship here, for those who don't follow the metaphor, is the entire US government machinery.

50 Media Mistakes in the Trump Era: The Definitive List

https://sharylattkisson.com/2018/06/10/ ... tive-list/
No contest, trump has made more than 3,000 false or misleading claims thru May 1, 2018. That's sixty times as many, so I acknowledge that trump has won again. So Much Winning!
https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/fac ... c4f41c9c4b
There are so many lies and opinions and figures of speech, the Post is not pants on fire, they are pantless.

"Thirty-four times, the president has wrongly asserted that a border wall was needed to stop the flow of drugs across the southern border, even though the Drug Enforcement Administration says a wall would not limit this illegal trade, as much of it travels through legal borders or under tunnels unaffected by any possible physical barrier."

Absurd. Love the word "much". Fools. No further comment.

"Thirteen times in the past five weeks, Trump has claimed his long-promised border wall is already being built, even though Congress denied him the funding and prohibited the use of prototypes he had viewed with great fanfare."

Sections are being build. Absurd.

etc, etc, etc.

I'm not sure where all of the vitriol, regarding Trump comes from. Is he the the most polished speaker? No. Does he use language and euphemisms, generally associated, with other Presidents? No.

But to his detractors, please name another President, who has turned an, all but stagnant economy around so quickly. Please name another President, who has, through his actions, been responsible for, the largest drop in unemployment, in this country's history. Please tell me another President, that has had the courage to actually, do everything within their power, to fulfill every promise, made during their campaign, despite the most atrocious attacks from the MSM, celebrities, and academia. Please tell me what other Presidential candidate, in the 2016 election, you would rather see, occupying the Oval Office, and defend your reasons, with, more than feelings, and "I just don't like him" .................
His speaking style is calibrated to resonate with the biggest cross section of Americans. Half of Americans are below median intelligence, and half of those are below the median of that group, and they're not all Democrats. And some of those who think they're Democrats are not. If he talked like William F Buckley - think about that. Ridiculous.

Big made up controversy on whether Trump can pardon himself. Trump continues to dominate the news cycle.
Either Rudy Gulianni stumbled badly in a stupid word game of gotcha while giving an interview, talking about presidential self-pardons, or he executed a beautiful move that had the media apoplectic for a day. Either way, it does not matter. If it's the former, he needs to be more careful.
