Does Bass Pro in Katy have a range?

I haven't been out to the Bass Pro in Katy MIlls before. DO they have a range? How is their selection of handguns? How are their prices?

No, they do not have a range there. I've only tried looking at their handguns once and they were not very helpful at all. They seemed as though I was bothering them to ask to see something outside of the case (much like my experiences at Carter's Country). As far as prices go, I didn't even bother looking since they were unhelpful.

Sorry I can't be of more help.

No range and their prices are high. They will price match. They do not have a large selection handguns. And as already stated trying to get waited on is a matter of luck.

FWIW when they first opened they posted a 30.06 sign prohibiting concealed carry in their store.

Situation might have changed over time - I never went back.

No, haven't see any 30.06 signs at Bass Pro.

There are 30.06 signs at the main entrances to the mall, in small print on a side wall (not conspicious at all), however, I have never seen signs at any of the other entrances to the mall (going in through a store).

They have a check your guns here sign. I showed them my CHL first time, no problem getting in. I don't bother anymore.

I thought you couldn't carry there because they are in Katy Mills mall. That mall has a 30.06 posting (so they no longer get any of my business)

In order for that to apply, the 30.06 sign must be posted at EVERY entrance. Otherwise you go in the entrance that is not posted and then you have not been given the proper legal notification required. Bass Pro isn't posted.
