2014 NRA Board Elections

#1

Post by Charles L. Cotton »

I know it seems a little early since we just finished the 2013 NRA Board election, but this is the time we start collecting petition signatures for next year's election. I never submit petitions because I simply don't have time to do it, but I've had a number of people ask me to do so.

If you are a voting NRA Member (life Member or an annual Member with at least 5 consecutive years) and would like to sign my petition, please download it and fill in the information. Then mail it to me at 110 Eagle Lakes Dr., Friendswood, TX 77546. Per the bylaws, only original signatures count, so email and fax won't work. Also, please note it must be printed on legal size paper, or it will not be accepted at HQ.

Thanks,
Chas.

I have half a ream here, if you want to stop by and pick up a sheet. :D

I bet a mom and pop mailbox/printing place would give/sell you a single sheet cheap...

Just wanted mention that David Hardy of "arms and the law" has a high opinion of Charles Cotton and a few others.

Charles, will you endorse any additional candidates this year, like you did last year: NRA Board Election Endorsement

Obviously, you aren't going to also endorse yourself, but FWIW, I endorse you!

Yes, I hope to have the page finished tomorrow. The other two men are Curtis Jenkins and Bill Carter.

Thanks for asking,
Chas.

george wrote:I seem to remember that Mr. Carter was one who was in favor of closing the "gun show loophole" several years ago. Is this the same guy. It was the owner of Carter's Country.

And just who is this Cotton guy, is he worth a vote???

Thank you, Mr. Cotton, for all you have done.
Bill Carter (Kentucky) is the son of Harlan Carter who saved the NRA years ago. This is not the same Bill Carter that owns Carter's Country who supported background checks on all gun show sales.
