How many levels of membership?

#1

Post by F350-6 »

Just wondering what the next level of membership is. I know the NRA always wants money to fight the fight. I get that. Just wondering what the next tactic is. Currently been a life member for a while and they keep hitting me up to become an endowment member. Just wondering if I make the leap, what level is after that?

I'm not foolish enough to believe they'll leave me along at that point and stop with all the exciting offers, or whatever they call it.

After Life member, there is Endowment, Patron, & Benefactor in that order.

Wait until you see jump to next level for $300 or $500 instead of $1,000. NRA-ILA also wants money and they can get good use of it.

Does it help fight the fight more if you give designated funds to the ILA or upgrade to the next level if only one could be done?

Different causes.

Oversimplified, but giving to the NRA supports the shooting sports and general perceptions of guns and shooting.

Giving to the NRA-ILA supports our political efforts and interactions with politicians.

Just received an offer yesterday to upgrade from Life to Endowment for $250.
It was a bit cheesy.... "We've given you a credit of $750 to use towards an upgrade....."
I'm not a fan of NRA marketing, not at all. But, I'll probably make the jump.

Similar to what made me make the jump to life when I did.

Same offer I got, which is why I started the thread. Have you gone to the website to see if they're throwing in any goodies along with the upgrade like a cap or jacket or anything?

Yesterday I used the same deal to upgrade from Endowment to Patron.

I'm supposed to get a NRA Tactical Briefcase. I'm anxious for it to arrive so I can find out how you make a briefcase "tactical."

A pretty nice-looking range bag, actually...

Well.. they call it a "tactical Briefcase", but the NRA logo obviates the "Tactical" notion.

Too bad they didn't add a pistol grip and make it an assault briefcase.

I'm concerned because although I received a confirmation email stating that I had enrolled in the Life Membership offer, I got another one recently reminding me to take advantage. Doesn't show up on my account. I sent them an inquiry so hopefully it will get fixed soon.

It will take it a few days to show up when you log in. I upgraded and have received nothing yet, but it now shows Patron when I log into https://www.nramemberservices.org/

Side note, I got notice that a UPS package is on it's way to me. I'm assuming it's my "tactical" briefcase.
