Stephen was a wonderful man and a great asset to the firearms community. Few people know what he did to help TSRA, but he was a valuable member of the team.

God blessed us with his presence, now He has called him home.

Having just aquired a hi power, I've been reading a lot of his work. WhAt an invaluable resource he left us !

All guns have at least two safeties. One's digital, one's cognitive. In other words - keep the digit off the trigger until ready to fire, and THINK. Some guns also have mechanical safeties on top of those. But if the first two don't work, the mechanical ones aren't guaranteed. - me

I always appreciated that a nationally known gun writer would take the time to answer personal correspondance, answering questions about specific guns and ammo.
Same here. I was lucky enough to buy a couple of his books and have exchanged email with him.

Saw a Hi-Power the other day and I though of Mr Camp. Hard to believe he been gone over 2 years.
