I've had difficulty doing that. I opted to print it landscape mode, two pages per sheet, front and back. Staple at the top left corner. Easy for students to read and only requires about 15 sheets.

Printing a booklet isn't too hard, at least with my Lexmark.

It's stapling that is an issue. You can buy staplers cheap that will print booklets up to about 20 sheets. (Amazon, $8.89)

You can buy heavy duty staplers cheap that will staple up to 100 pages. (Amazon, $17.96)

But finding an affordable stapler that will do more than 20 pages and with the deep offset is almost impossible.

Leave good margins, fold the booklet, and staple along the fold.
I sincerely apologize to anybody I offended by suggesting the Second Amendment also applies to The People who don't work for the government.

There are utilities that will convert a PDF to the proper page ordering to print 4-pages per sheet. For the Mac, I use this one...

http://web.mac.com/vogelbusch/Site/Programs/Eintr" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;äge/2009/7/22_Create_Booklet_1.1_support_Snow_Leopard.html

That's why i asked earlier what system you're using.
