Judge refuses to call a mistrial over Maxine Waters statements last night. But slaps her down by saying it might give grounds for appeal later.

It is shameful that they even pretend to call this a trial. It was more of a kangaroo court before giving in to mob rule.

Jury has a decision.

30 minutes till we know.

Very quick.

Odds are guilty, since so quick.

One thing I’m surprised about, defense didn’t demonstrate what the officer did to George Floyd with two real subjects in the courtroom.

Since his knee was not on his throat, to me it would not kill anyone. Maybe the George Floyd challenge will be the next dare for kids on video.

Yep. All the TVs, appliances, booze etc. will be looted. What’s safe are the hardware stores and those selling work clothing...

We all knew this going in. And so did Chauvin... if he has any intelligence... he knew he would be sacrificed regardless of guilt.

Good chance of being overturned on appeal. How much evidence, not feelings, but evidence do you need to NOT convict someone of murder?

Of course he was. The jury is probably disheartened they couldn't follow Maxine's mandate to make it first degree murder. In fact I'll wager they spent more time discussing why they couldn't make it first degree murder instead the three counts than they did electing a foreman discussing and voting him guilty.
