Here is what showed up on my phone with a real shrill noise.

Remember when it was profiling to think people were criminals when they wore hoodies.

This is the guy.

Very strange.

Officer pulled up behind a reported disabled car.

Driver got out and shot the officer in the head through the windshield.

I assume, he then got back in his car and drove off.

Good! He's dead; matters not by whose hand. Another felon with a gun, see how well that 4473 law works!!!

Prayers for his family. His poor dear children and wife has to be crushed. Praying for his LE family too.

From NBC 5 Dallas...
A Texas State Trooper shot Friday night near Mexia has "no viable brain activity" and is currently on life support so that his organs can be donated, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.

The DPS said in a tweet at about 1:30 p.m. that Trooper Chad Walker will remain on life support "until he can share the gift of life as an organ donor."

"This final sacrifice embodies Trooper Walker’s actions throughout his life and service as a Texas Highway Patrol Trooper. The Walker family is grateful for the continued support and prayers as they remain at Chad’s side," the DPS said.

I didn't realize Texas had the Blue Alert as a Statewide alert or some of these others below. But here are all the Statewide alerts explained on DPS site: https://www.dps.texas.gov/section/intel ... lear-alert

But here is a good graphic:

This is just terrible news. All my prayers to his family.

Just senseless.
