Evil comes in all shapes and sizes today. How sad! Prayers for all of the people involved. So many people effected in this.

If the gun was obtained at home the parents are responsible for allowing the child access to it.

School administrators were aware before the shooting that there was a gun in student’s possession on campus.

“See something say something”, seems to break down when it gets to the point of the government being involved.

Some states don’t have laws regarding access by children, but Virginia does, similar to Texas.

I guess Virginia school staff don't take that federal 'gun free school zone' thing very seriously....

How would one go about seeing if anyone has ever been charged and convicted with a gun in the gun free area as a stand alone charge? In other words they just were arrested and charged with carrying a gun in a gun free zone crime without being charged with any other crime.

First week child went to school with out his parents being there.
He is a special needs child of some kind.
