Re: Killed in a Midlothian church
Dog blood
A veterinarian where Bevers took one of the dogs verified his story
Police are awaiting tests to come back to confirm.
"I wanted to make sure we put this fire out. This is such a non-issue. We wanted to address it fast," Brandon Bevers said.
Randy Bevers says he didn't think twice about taking a bloodstained shirt to the same dry cleaner his daughter-in-law once used.
"Only a person trying to hide something, would have tried to hide something like that," he said.

in case anyone was wonder there is no update on this that I know of.
Re: Killed in a Midlothian church
Still no resolution a year and half later. There's an article from around the one-year point where it indicates that all the close family members have investigated and ruled out as suspects.
Apparently the perfect disguise for a murderer is a SWAT-like uniform and an odd gait.

Re: Killed in a Midlothian church
I have been trying to keep up with this one. Not any statements from the family or the police in quite awhile which I find puzzling. No arrests in the Delphi murders either though that suspect is photographed on a cell phone camera and his voice is recorded as he commands those poor girls, "Down the hill!"...Chilling.

Re: Killed in a Midlothian church
This is one of several outrageous murders that have not been solved.
Another is the "Delphi Murders" of two young girls murdered near a walking trail in Delphi, Indiana. They have a photograph of that suspect taken by one of the victims and even a voice recording where he ominously commands, "Down the hill!" No arrests.
Another is in Wisconsin where murderer(s) busted in the door of a home, shot to death the parents, and snatched a little thirteen year old girl named Jaymee Closs. No arrests.
Do the best you can to be prepared folks--situational awareness, firearms training, whatever it takes. You never know when it could happen to you.
