This one tonight was 5 houses away. Very loud blast and houses shook. Have never seen so many Police, FBI, and ATF in one spot. From what we are told, it may be into the day tomorrow before we can leave this area of the subdivision.

This one went off in front of my co-workers house. She and her family are safe. She said it was an IED with trip wires.

Watch out for everything.

Hard to believe this is happening in Texas. Chicago, yes. Detroit, yes. Baltimore, yes. Not Austin.

Hope the people who are doing this are caught soon. Or at least have a premature detonation that takes them out.

Up until after midnight there were choppers flying around overhead. All of our homes back up to the Barton Creek Greenbelt and I suppose they were giving it the eye. At 2 am my doorbell rings and it's the ATF and FBI. Going door to door interviewing residents. Said they would be back today to view security cam footage etc. We are not to try to leave as we would be turned back unless we have a police escort. Only one way in to our street. Oh well I didn't have anything planned anyway. Lived on this street for 20 years and so far its a very quiet area even though there are a few noisy liberals in the mix. Looking outside now at a group of FBI guys in the street.
Have a good day.

I'm up in Pflugerville and APD (who NEVER operates here) did a major raid on a house 1 block over at about 5:00 this morning. Using a loud speaker from behind cover they were ordering a guy named Mohamed something to come out with hands up or his safety will not be guaranteed. They arrested the guy but I have no idea who he is. I could see them looking in the trees with spotlights. Anyway, it was very unusual and all the cops have left.

That is, by definition, too close to home!

Stay safe out there.

You got that right!! As loud as it was our home shook. My wife had just got home from church when it happened. Any later and she would have been turned away from the subdivision. Still a huge LE presence out there.

I'm a big fan of LE, but APD is incompetent. After the first bomb/Victim, they came out and said the thought maybe he did himself messing around with explosives. Basically guessing and putting out false information. 10 days go by and not a word about the first. Then 2 more. IF they would have been honest and issued the city wide warning about strange packages after the first one, It's likely they could have gotten one of second set of bombs undetonated. Now they are running around chasing their tails.

Since you're being held prisoner in your own home, get one of the agents to go shopping for you. I would send him/her out for a six pack, a pack of smokes, and some ammo.

And just to make it special, make sure it is an ATF agent...

They did issue a warning about the packages!! They continued to do so after the others as well.

Good idea Jason812 but I quit drinking and smoking 41 years ago when my youngest daughter was born. Trust me, I have ammo.

PitBoss when they came into my study to start the interview, they both noticed the 1911 on my desk. They never said a word!!

i can believe it... Austin has been infested with liberals from California. It's not even part of Texas anymore if you ask me...
