Police said to drop his weapon he cocked it and pointed it at the officers, who took cover.

I guess you could say he is lucky to still be breathing. I guess everyone realized the shotgun was still loaded as they always are loaded.

He has a big list of priors, I hope he is in jail a long time, because we don't want him on the street again ever.

He is either extremely stupid or he wanted to get arrested or worse, suicide by cop.

After watching his body movements on the video, I'd vote for "drunk or stoned", but I suppose that could fall under "extremely stupid".....

He's lucky to be alive. I guess it helps that he chose to do this near a lot of 51% locations.
