The incident occurred around 7:55 p.m. on Friday, according to police. A woman was walking the animal outside in the Churchill on the Parks apartment complex when the man followed her home, investigators said.

When police arrived at the scene, two people were in their apartment with stab wounds. One of the victims was pronounced dead by fire officials.

The description includes a statement that suspect had "wavy hair," but the composite drawing shows a guy with very short hair (called a "burr" when I was a kid). They either posted the wrong composite drawing, or something is rather fishy.

At one time, I thought I had wavy hair.

After cutting it off, it turns out I had straight hair and a wavy head...

It was an incident similar to this, involving being followed at night, that resulted in my wife's self defense epiphany. She had been carrying a Ruger LCR .38 in her purse. Now, she carries a Walther PPS M2 LE in a Ramora RFT pocket holster. Progress. I'll take it.

He has been captured. He was trailed as he stole the victims cell phone. He has a long rap sheet. Hopefully death penalty ASAP:

RIP

I guess it doesn’t help anyone to know that the man that killed you was extremely stupid.

Prayers for the victims. Glad the police got the bad guy.

This is one more demonstration that banning guns will not end crime.

Banning knives won't end murder either. Even being in prison only slows criminals down: Seven inmates brutally killed with knives in South Carolina prison unrest
Most of the victims appeared to have died as a result of stabbings or slashings with homemade knives, known as “shanks”. The weapons are ubiquitous within South Carolina’s 21 prisons. “Put simply, anyone who can has a knife"
