First off, who was supervising these guys? The number of discrepancies in past warrants is nothing short of stunning. I doubt that will come up during the trial. Second - these two need to be tried separately. Third - I saw the chiefs presser, he still insists there was some sort of illegal activity going on at the residence. I guess we'll find out about this time next year.

For those that have a law degree or necessary legal understanding, here is my question: Can Gov. Abbott assign the Texas Rangers to investigate the Houston Police Dept for malfeasance and possible criminal activity from top to bottom?

Sounds like it's much needed, but if this happens start watching for "scandals" popping up involving Abbott and Dan Patrick. They will start in quickly to discredit the accusers.

Some updates. This story talks a little more about the first police response at the house on Harding that took place a week prior to the raid. Hopefully more information will be released.

The marijuana ...did I read right, both of the couple had cancer? If so, that can easily and commonly explain the marijuana.

You can not be a drug dealer with out drugs of sufficient quantity to be packaged and resold.. You need the scale to weigh, and the packaging to fill.

If Acevedo is saying "Yabbut there was still 'something' going on at that house..." and all they found was a gram of cocaine and 2/3 ounce of marijuana then there is a special place in Hades for him.

The story that a mom called concerned about her daughter was also a lie.

The only drugs that were found was in the Goins car.
