Perhaps as this one progressive idea in his life failed, it damaged the foundation of the rest of them so he can begin to see the dangers of progressive socialism.

My impression of the incident is that he had absolutely no situational awareness and would have lost his gun as well as his cell phone. Somebody tell him about TexasCHLforum.com and maybe he'll learn something.
