It is different for sure. If things keep going I fear for the world my two young grandchildren will face. One is 12 months and the other is four years.

A targeted drive by. But wrong house. Used a modern popular semiautomatic rifle.

Man murdered at a gas station at 2 am. Police suspect robbery. Channel 2 says white masks. Chronicle says "ghost masks".

Note to self: getting gas at 2 am in Houston, approached by two men in ghosts masks, ok to immediately fumble for your gun.

Just reinforces the notion that nothing good happens after midnight outside of the home!

Men pistol whip woman as she comes home from work at 1:30 AM. They steal her Jeep. Police find the Jeep and give chase. It lasts 10 miles. Two police cars crash into each other sending one into a used car lot where four more cars are damaged. The suspects crash into a tree. Passenger is caught. Drive flees the scene. A K-9 officer finds the man under a trailer and he resists arrests, so the K-9 officer uses force in apprehending the car-jacker and he is bitten. That is the only good part of the story. One of the men is out on bail for Capital Murder.

It does not say what the new bail will be.

Lately bail is low, probably about $100. Didn't I read somewhere that poor people should have lower bail?

Spring, TX.

Toddler murdered in robbery at apartment complex.
Father shot 9 times.

Sounds like the toddler was purposefully murdered in the robbery that netted nothing other than heartbreak.

Wonder if the murderers are out on bail?

Just seems to get worse every day.

Since the alleged perpetrators are not white or Hispanic, will this receive the same media and political attention as little Maleia did? There is now a bronze statue of Maleia.

Horrifying. The number of children being murdered in Texas's big cities is beyond jarring.
