Well done brave bystander.

Homeless man had officer on ground beating him when bystander stepped in. Officer still in the hospital with two scull fractures.

Got a report from Pasadena Police officers last night on Officer McGill. He was KO'd with a sucker punch. Suffered severe facial fractures as well. Hopefully his vision will not be impaired. Prayers requested for him and his family. The officer and his cohorts attribute the bystanders actions with saving his life and were of the opinion the homeless man would have eventually gone for the gun and maybe both McGill and the bystander would have been shot.

But why do the always refer to the bad guy as a "gentleman"?
