All the guns fault. Legally bought the Semi automatic rifle in Nevada in early July, then illegally brought it into California.

It'd be a very different, but similarly toned article if the bad guy used a Ruger Mini 14. I'm not sure which of the two would be scarier. Regardless, typical of the dems blaming the firearm. Bad guys will do what bad guys do. Doesn't matter what laws are passed even on the federal level.

Good summary of events. No motive.

Not really mentioned very much, but good guys with handguns killed him.

I wasn't sure. Sometimes these nut jobs take their own lives when the police arrive.

Have to admire the officers who ran to the sound of the gun. Obviously, the 19 year old loser was not very experienced with the rifle. Still, the officers responded armed with handguns. They took pistols to a rifle fight and prevailed.
I have seen articles from the left blasting 'conservatives' for pushing a 'falses' good guy with a gun narrative. In truth, good guys with guns, very brave good guys, ended this situation.

Garlic festival on duty police officers hailed as hero’s by police chief.

I would also say they are hero’s as well.

Going up against a man with a rifle with a handgun takes special bravery. I am also sure their job was made tougher by the fact that innocent people had to be missed. That requires extra special talent. Running into danger while everyone is fleeing is the definition of brave.

Considering what happened in Parkview and Las Vegas, all gun owners and 2 nd Amendment lovers, owe these 3 officers our undieing gratitude, for a job well done.

Coroner says died from inter oral gun shot wound.

They are still hero’s. Idiots like this don’t want to die from a policeman’s bullet and will kill themselves to avoid that.

http://www.mercurynews.com/five-wounded ... k-security

Five wounded victims sue organizers of Garlic Festival.

Lax security, failure to anticipate a mass shooting.

If I remember the shooter traveled along a creek at the back of the property and cut through a chain link fence to gain access.

Gun free victim zone. Police I believe killed the shooter almost immediately.

When someone is willing to die to do harm, they usually can succeed.
