Well, it was on CNN's website early this morning, but I just had to search for it to see it again. Certainly not a "top story" since it doesn't fit the agenda/narrative.

Apparently now all my kitchen knives are defective too since they haven't killed anyone. Just sent my mom an email to her asking about why someone needs an AR. She thinks I should be able to defend myself but .... I will patiently explain the tools necessary to defend myself to anyone.

Same reason someone needs a Ferrari, 80" tv over a 42", massive house for 2 people, etc. Because they want it is enough. The same people who ask that wont bat an eye over a Garand, Kel-Tec SU16, or an SKS which dont look evil but carry the same or more firepower than an AR.
