Re: Questionnaire from my Rep.
I'm thinking I should just post the page as a PDF so all the members that didn't get something similar from their Reps will have one to fill out and send in.RPB wrote:Need any help answering that?
Here we go: pdf file: MillerQ001.pdf Password Texas2011
Re: Questionnaire from my Rep.
I think they need to strike the 21 age from the wording. There could potentially be a 18 year old with military service that would be prohibited from carrying.

Now if only there was an easy way to send this to my Rep.

I believe the basic political division in this country is not between liberals and conservatives but between those who believe that they should have a say in the personal lives of strangers and those who do not.

Why are there two sets of answers?
I am not and have never been a LEO. My avatar is in honor of my friend, Dallas Police Sargent Michael Smith, who was murdered along with four other officers in Dallas on 7.7.2016.

Yes. Oddly, there's only one space to fill in something for "other" on the "what should we cut to balance the budget" question.RoyGBiv wrote:Some of us are married and want our spouses to feel "included"C-dub wrote:Why are there two sets of answers?
Re: Questionnaire from my Rep.
Everyone wants to cut the budget until they discover what is being cut is their pet project. Cut out highways until you hit a pot hole, cut out schools until your first grader starts off the year in a class with 37, or discover that your conservative, no tax increase at any cost representative has voted to add a new use tax to gasoline, arguing that it isn't a tax but a user fee.
Re: Questionnaire from my Rep.
I didn't see this posted elsewhere in the thread, so I just wanted to point out that Rep. Sid Miller has signed on as a coauthor of HB 750 (Driver's campus carry bill). If you're in his district, you should definitely shoot him a quick thank you note.
And if you're not in Rep. Miller's district, you should check to see whether or not your Representative has signed on as a coauthor. If so, say thanks. If not, ask why not.
