5 gal. of .45 acp brass for sale --withdrawn

#1

Post by gfmun »

I have a 5 gallon pail of .45 acp brass for sale. Range pickup, not cleaned. $175.00 in Granbury or surrounding area.

Always willing to listen to trades for shooting related items, but not more brass. :bigear:
Thanks,
George

Range pickup is very dangerous, many of us leave brass at the range when they have reached the end of their useful life, cracks, splits, too many reloadings, etc. Just my practice and observation of 40 years of reloading. You do not know their history unless you personally fired each round and how may times each has been fired.

Vast majority of us reloaders use only range pickup. Load it, sell it, trade it for what we need.
We do not have the $$$s to buy new brass & especially that much pistol brass.
I never found range pickup to be "dangerous" & I have been reloading since 1971.
My .02cents & some think it worth about half that. :tiphat:

Me too, LT, even though I've only been reloading 20 years.

Back in the day, if I came home from a golf outing with more balls than I went out with, it was a good day. That same euphoria overtakes me when I bring back more mt's than I shot when I go shooting. Rimfires don't count. :coolgleamA:

Still for sale or trade.

Pick up brass is all I have ever shot. I used the .45 in my Kimbers when shooting IDPA and I use 9mm pick up range brass in my STI now. I did get 200 rounds of new brass as part of a trade once and I put it in the safe, not sure what to do with it.

George is a good guy. If you reload 45, you should jump on this deal. You won't likely find a better one.

If you ever make it up to the DFW area, I'd be interested.
I don't have a truck or a car :)

The offer is withdrawn. We have a table at most of the DFW gun shows so I am breaking the bucket down to 500 round bags and selling them that way. Thanks for looking.
