WTB: 1911 EMP® 4” Lightweight Champion™ 9mm - DFW Area
I know it's a long shot, but looking for one of these:

Would prefer like new, local FTF sale - maybe you don't like yours after you bought it or know someone that doesn't.
Thanks!
James

Ah, gotcha. That's pretty specific, lol. Good luck! Looks like a nice piece.

Not local, but GunsAmerica has several in case you want to expand your search parameters.

If you find one please post a review on it. I am looking at the same pistol, considering getting one.

ive been looking for one local to fondle a bit, no one seems to have them in stock.
just fyi, i've read a lot of issues on the 1911 forum requiring them to be sent back to have the ejector pinned.

Saw that, apparently someone thought it would be a good idea to 'glue' the ejector in (probably the bean counters).rentz wrote:ive been looking for one local to fondle a bit, no one seems to have them in stock.

Not sure that loose ejectors were always the reason they went back, but I do know that Springfield is pinning the ejector on every pistol that goes back.... as a matter of course.

I wrote Springfield C/S this morning inquiring if newly manufactured EMP4 pistols will the leave factory with pinned ejectors or if they even consider this a 'problem'. I do know that they are pinning every pistol that goes back to them (for any reason).rentz wrote:ive been looking for one local to fondle a bit, no one seems to have them in stock.

Hopefully, I will receive a reply in the coming days.
