Shot timer app

#1

Post by Paladin »

With the passing of my old shot timer, I have been looking around for something new.

Tried out the Make Ready Lite app which is FREE.

It's got some nice features like easily setting par time and a function to filter out echoes. There isn't a delay feature, but you can work around it somewhat. The timer still tended to pick up random noise indoors, but all and all a decent app for the price

Curious if there are apps anyone else uses?

I tried Make Ready at an outdoor range with abysmal results. Then again it’s free so you’ve got nothing to lose trying it out!

There’s another one that I tried which had a monthly fee, but with a free 30 day trial, which I didn’t like. Range Fox if I remember correctly.

I really suggest replacing your timer with another dedicated timer...

I have tried two or three of these types of apps on my iphone. No matter how much fiddling I did with them I couldn't get them to work very well. I gave up and got me a dedicated shot timer.
