Wouldn't be so sure of that. Real elderly folk can be rather fragile in that stress, good or bad, can negatively impact their health even ultimately killing them. Seen that firsthand. If the local DA isn't a loser and there's no interference from the communistas in the state government the goblin gang should catch an enhanced charge. Theoretically, but it's California we're talking about here.
