I'm happy it worked out for the woman and her children but it's generally a bad idea to leave small children alone in a car with a loaded gun.

Shot in the face is not the same as shot in the brain. However, in this case it was enough to stop him from running off with her and the kids.

Maybe this is a good reminder that one shot stopping power is never a guarantee. I use to think the "T" zone was drop em territory. Not so sure about that now.
