He was wounded in the gun fight. 4 attackers.

Nobody needs an AR15 until you need one.

Yep, that's the reason I'm getting one. Never know when anarchy is going to break out.

They will be handy to have if all that is around us goes to heII, but I still believe the best reason to own an AR is that they are just plain fun to shoot.

My AR is my wife's favorite gun, she will shoot every round that I have if I let her!

Yesterday I bought a Streamlight TLR-1 for my AR15---should get it next week.
It is an Amazon best-seller and was recommended in the "best list" of tactical lights for the AR15 at one gun site.
Anybody have one and what do they think of it? Are there better lights out there?
Thanks much!

I run a TLR-3 on my AR. Love it. I exclusively use Streamlight and Surefire. I have had that TLR-3 for going on 9-10 years and it’s worked flawlessly since day one.

Thanks, CM!
I have a Streamlight Pro-Tac that I carry around with me in my pocket.
I live out in the country and it is especially useful at night! The last thing I want to do is step on a diamondback rattlesnake going from my house to my car!

I prefer my AK, but I bought an AR just to annoy all the right people.

That might
change after you get one and take it out a few times.

I'm in a very populated area so I prefer a pistol or shotgun. The chance that a 5.56 round can go through and on into neighbors is not acceptable.
But I love shooting my MSR!

I agree. I started with action pistol matches, then added an AR and started participating in action carbine matches, now kinda like the carbine matches a little more than the pistol matches.
