"It was all I had in my gun. I shot until I couldn't shoot anymore," Hudgins said. “I saved my life.”

Someone get that woman a box of SD ammo!

The lady only had two rounds of ammo. The socialists want to levy huge taxes on ammo so next time she won’t have any.

:confused5 Why would you only have 2 rounds in a carry self defense weapon? Never less than 20 rounds when shopping between the wife and I, and usually more. :fire

I think there is more to be reported on this event. Aggravated robbery is:
Sec. 29.03. AGGRAVATED ROBBERY. (a) A person commits an offense if he commits robbery as defined in Section 29.02, and he:

(1) causes serious bodily injury to another;

(2) uses or exhibits a deadly weapon; or

(3) causes bodily injury to another person or threatens or places another person in fear of imminent bodily injury or death, if the other person is:

(A) 65 years of age or older; or

(B) a disabled person.

(b) An offense under this section is a felony of the first degree.

(c) In this section, "disabled person" means an individual with a mental, physical, or developmental disability who is substantially unable to protect himself from harm.
She didn't look 65 or older nor disabled, nor did I see any serious bodily injury, so one of the thugs must have shown a weapon, if the cops are going for aggravated robbery.

And yes, somebody get her a box of ammo.

Perhaps she has an income level that doesn't allow her to have lots of ammo? Maybe she has to decide between buying food or buying more ammo?

I don't know the reason, but the socialists want to make it even harder for her to have a fully loaded firearm.

Percieved threat / disparity of force / amount of ammo issues notwithstanding, her statement that she "shot until I couldn't shoot any more", would seem to be fertile ground for a prosecutor if they chose to press charges.

one of the cornerstones of self defense is proportionate force. 2 bullets was enough, luckily. this time.

This Washington Post article says the DA declined to file charges against the woman.

It also says she saw that the men were indeed armed.
