Interesting update on UT's Campus Carry implementation:

Looks like the board of regents is more sane than the committee.
(I)t appeared that his proposal to eliminate the chambered-round provision might muster the necessary six votes to pass. Notably, Foster said he also “took issue” with that provision. Prospects for revising the gun-exclusion option for offices seemed uncertain.
