approved ammunition list

#1

Post by mec »

I haven't seen a new one for about a decade . If anybody has a list of ammunition they will allow on the dps range, I am curious about Sellier and Bellot, PMC and Blackhills. A recent letter indicates that they will not allow magtech or the Monarch import
thanks.

I found the list - it isn't all inclusive, but if you avoid Magtech, S&B, and Monarch you should be alright. They only want SAAMI spec factory ammo on the range.

Speer
CCI
Winchester
Hornaday
Federal
American Eagle
Remington
Fiocchi
Black Hills

ah! the list!
The s&b has all sorts of approval stamps by european standards organizations but I also have not been able to find a list of SAAMI rounds anywhere=even on the saami site. Most of those listed are either saami sponsors or, in the case of blackhills- some other variety of associate.
thanks

Magtech claims on thier website that they are all 100% SAMMI approved. Anyone got a newer box with the approval on it?
Maybe send a copy or the box to the DPS?
