Quick Question

#1

Post by Capt Roy »

I have applied for the instructor class and my application status says ..processing..

I have a Ruger GP100 and a XDM 40 to take to the class. I have Williams fire sights on the Ruger and Dawson fire sights on the XDM. Are these ok? I read on the DPS site that no optics and I'm assuming that means scopes, red dots and lasers.

I'm a little old and with my eyesight the fire sights allow me to aquire a target much easier..

Thanks,

Capt Roy

I am not familiar with the fire sights, but as long as it does not project anything on the target, like a laser does, then it should not be a problem.

Those sights are fine. As long as they don't interfere with safe operation nothing will be said.
